The External Funding Service have worked with Schools to achieve all kinds of projects, such as: Exchange visits to another Country, playgrounds; environmental projects, Pre-school buildings located on School sites, workshops etc to name but a few.
The team have many resources available to enable them to research and identify potential funding opportunities for a specific project. If your school has a project that would benefit from alternative funding, please contact the team. Please email funding@somerset.gov.uk
The External Funding service has purchased a subscription to Grantnet, a grant search facility, allowing Somerset School access to complete their own funding search. You can access Grantnet via this website, you will need to log in using your SiX username and password.
